Salkehatchie is our mission camp for ages 14 - college/adults. This is a life-changing week where our students work with people from other churches and our own to make homes warmer, safer, and drier for those in need. No construction skills are needed!
We are so excited to announce that this year, we will attend the Penn Center Camp in Beaufort, SC. The Penn Center Camp is the original Salkehatchie camp. Though the ministry has grown to over 40 locations, it all started at Penn Center! The Penn Center Camp is well attended by youth from across our state, and the camp fills quickly! If you plan to attend, register promptly.
Registration will open this Sunday! To register, visit www.salkehatchie.org, and click on registration at the top. Make sure your student registers for Penn Center if they want to attend with our group.
Please be sure to read below carefully.
· You must be 14 years of age by the start date of your chosen camp in order to participate. This is an insurance regulation.
· This camp will fill quickly. I recommend registering immediately to ensure you get the camp of your choice.
· Registration will require a digital picture upload and a digital upload of the front and back of your insurance card.
· Those who are over 18 must provide three references and complete a background check.
· PAYMENT: The cost is $300 per camper. As in previous years, the church pays for half of the participant's fee, provided the participant is active in the church or youth program. Please forward the payment receipt to me; you will be reimbursed $150.00 within one week.
